Developing Simulation in Health and Rehabilitation

Instructor: Joanne Baird

$300 Enroll

Full course description

This course provides educators in pre-licensure programs with the specific skills and knowledge needed to support learning through simulation.

Simulation-based education is effective and well-received by students when done correctly. However there are many myths surrounding its use and simulation is often used to poor effect, wasting much needed and limited program resources like time and money. Much like clinical practice, simulation-based education has concrete best-practice guidelines. When followed, these best-practice guidelines support a robust experience for the student and contribute to the rigor of the educational program.
